Aon/PLSA LGPS Cyber Scorecard

Introduction

Thank you for participating in this assessment of the cyber resilience of your LGPS Fund.  Aon is pleased to be working with the PLSA to help PLSA’s LGPS members assess their exposure to cyber risks and decide what actions to take.  Aon’s Cyber Scorecard is an invaluable tool that will give officers, pension board members and pension committee members a detailed assessment of where their Fund stands and a sound basis for decision-making. It is free for PLSA members to use and has no expiry date.

The assessment consists of around 50 questions and is expected to take around 30 minutes to complete.  Questions have been designed so that they can be completed by a typical Pensions Manager or Senior Officer with similar responsibilities, albeit they may need to liaise with the Pension Fund Investment or Administration Managers in relation to some questions. They do not need detailed technical IT and cyber knowledge

In this first section Aon have asked for some basic information so that we can compare LGPS funds of different characteristics, as well as your contact information so we can provide you with the results of the assessment. None of the information that you provide will be shared other than with the person analysing the survey results, although we do ask your permission to collate your response with those of other pension schemes to generate benchmark information that we can share with you and others. In doing that your data will never be identifiable and any analysis of subsets of data will only be released if there are sufficient numbers that individual responses cannot be identified.

Please note that your data will be processed by Aon and a summary shared with the PLSA. Further details of how we maintain your privacy can be found in Aon’s Privacy Policy and in PLSA’s Privacy Policy.
